Holy coincidence. I was just 30 minutes ago browsing Holly's site and looking longingly at the same tablecloth. I wondered who got it, how/if they are using it, and WHY OH WHY I didn't see it and snatch it up before they did. I also vowed that if I ever see anything like it I will buy it no matter what.

About the time you got your red clogs, I was all set to jump on the bandwagon because I really do like them. I think they're more "me" now, then when I first wanted them. They're always out there somewhere on my list of wants, but I've never pulled the trigger. I think it's because I feel like I should be able to find them for $50 (maybe even less) at a consignment store or something.

One thing that's not cute that I did buy on eBay for cheap (because they spelled the name wrong) was a pair of wool Haflinger clogs. I love those things even when they've collected all the dog hair in the house. I think of them as the Swiffer of clogs.

If the Dala horse printed clog had that icon centered on the front of the clog rather than an allover print (on navy or red) I'd be very interested. I have a weird dala horse fetish thing right now and I'm pretty sure you somehow inspired it.

Cupcakes that like to grill, mow the lawn, and then loll about in the chaise...hmm...He looks like the kind of guy I'd love to date. He's obviously very sweet and he's very cute. Let's hope he's not low fat which to me is just not a good quality in Cupcake.

Do you suppose there is anyway to get Cupcake to relocate? Exactly how far away is Cupcakeland and are there other ones like him there (preferably in my general age group)? Maybe I could relocate.

I remember this being a little topic of conversation a few years ago.

Have you designed your own box yet? Just the notion that it can be done would be enough for me, but were I a more entrepreneurial sort, I might start an etsy store. I'd sell licensed designs by some of the more popular illustrators on the site. (Note to anyone reading this: let me know if you're doing it and I'll get to work on marketing your business and contacting the artists.)

Now, if only we could find the paper toweling templates. We could sell gift sets for hostesses. Perhaps cocktail napkins, too, though I do suppose paper napkins have have finally and fortunately been mostly banished by the eco-friendly among us.

Yeah, those characters are a bit stern, aren't they? You are definitely right about sub-categories of cute; I ought to try to map out the whole field.
